My Country

My Country is Sri Lanka. It is an island. It is a small country. There are many pepole in my country. They are Sinhala,Tamil,Musiim and burger. But we live in together and we live iv one country. We are very friendly.

My country is very ever-green and it is very fertile. The main commercial crops in sri lanka are tea,coconut and rubber.It is very fertile.Small coconut plantations and paddy fields in rural villaeges.we get water from the rain. Water can be used for cultivation.

They are many animals in my country. They live in jungles and zoo. Sinharaja is a very beautiful jungle. There are many animals in Sinharaja.

There are many beautiful places in my country.

The people in our country are verry clever.They are famous Throughout the world.

May my country prosper.

The National Flag

 

The National flag of Sri Lanka is the Lion flag. It has a long history. There is a lion carrying a sword. The Lion signifies heroism and strength. It refers to the history of our nation. The lion is yellow in colour in a crimson background. The sword witch the lion holds in its right front paw stands for justice.
